When you are finished drafting your narrative, get back together with your group and share your work with the group. You may want to print out multiple copies of your story and/or read your story aloud.

Listen carefully as each person reads his or her story.

• Does the writer use specific, vivid descriptions?
• Do you see any places where the story could be improved by giving reasons, showing examples, or using the five senses?
• Is the information historically correct as far as you know?

Give others your feedback and listen to their comments on your work! You can also help each other with spelling and grammar.

After group editing, write a final copy of your narrative and place it in your notebook.
