Overview

These lessons have students studying the ancient Egyptian numeral system. In Hieroglyphics, students learn the symbols for one, ten, and one hundred. It is appropriate for early elementary students. In Duplatio, students learn the method of multiplying by doubling. An interactive calculator demonstrates the outcome. It is more appropriate for older elementary students. These activities are mathematical in content, but they also introduce a different culture.

Downloading and Printing Files
