About

IDEAL-NM applications for online teachers are accepted year-round.

If you have already applied then your application will remain active and be considered in the pool of applicants for one year, unless you email Amy Jaramillo (amy.jaramillo@state.nm.us) with a request to withdraw your application. It is recommended that you check back at the IDEAL-NM website to learn about active recruitments that might be happening.

Requirements

To be an IDEAL-NM online teacher, you must

  • be licensed to teach for the state of New Mexico in a content area other than special education,
  • have three years of teaching experience and
  • have online learning experience

Instructions

To apply to be an IDEAL-NM online teacher, you need to

  1. fill out this application and
  2. have your superintendent, principal, or supervisor complete the recommendation form. He/She should fax it to Amy Jaramillo at (505) 827-7839.
