Oral
history: Lorenzo Banegas, Doña Ana County,
New Mexico
Mr. Banegas turned 23 in Camp O'Donnell shortly after
the surrender of Bataan. After traveling to Japan
on the Hellship Haro Maru, Mr. Banegas was liberated
from Fukuoka in August 1945.
